(P/2'-3')(FS) Z3-10 Achilles supposedly cured his warriors in the battle of Troy with its leaves due to its power to stem blood flow and heal wounds. Considered sacred by the druids and used for I Ching divination. Yarrow tea is a good blood builder and general tonic. A medicinal TEA is made from its leaves to relieve colds and fever. Also speeds decomposition of compost. To make an infusion: Use one Tbsp. of dried yarrow with 1 cup of water. Parboil and steep for 5 minutes. Take one cup a day. Common yarrow has a nice white flower that can be used in bouquets or dried arrangements.
