Description and Uses: Also known as Ajwain, Carom, Bishop's Weed, Ajowan Caraway, or Thymol Seed.  Ajowan is grown commercially in India for its pungent, aromatic seeds used in curries, pickles and beverages. Used medicinally to treat coughs, sore throats, and bronchitis. Contains a powerful antifungal agent.  
 
Seed Germinating Tips: Start indoors in peat pots, planting seeds 1/4" deep, if growing season is short in your area.   Or plant outdoors in full sun in soil that drains well. Thin seedlings to 6-12" apart.
