(P2-4')(FS)Z3-9 This dramatic prairie plant is highly recommended in the ornamental garden for its vertical form. It is a virtual magnet for butterflies. The tall spikes of fuzzy purple flowers bloom from July until the first frost and are eacellent as cut flowers or in dried flower arrangements. The roots supposedly taste like carrots.
