Mosaic Hop Cones
An off-spring of Simcoe hops with Nugget genes thrown in, Mosaic was developed by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2012. It was named Mosaic for its mixture of complex aromas and flavors that add earthy, floral and fruity charactors to the brew. Even bubble gum! Typically used as a finishing hop.
Used to brew: US-Style Pale Ales, IPAs, Double IPAs
Aplha acid - 10.5 - 14%
Beta acid - 3 - 4%
Co-humulone - 21-25%
Myrcene - 48-55%
Farnesene - <1.0%
Humulene - 10-15%
Total Oil - 0.8 - 3 ml/100g
