Sweet Fennel Seeds
Foeniculum vulgare 'dulce'
 
This fennel has the same great anise-licorice flavor of other fennels and is excellent with baked salmon. The main reason we've added this herb is it seems to be preferred by the swallowtail butterfly caterpillars as a food source.
 
Impressive height makes it a good centerpiece or background plant.
