Also known as Asian basil or Anise basil. Thai basil has purplish foliage with a strong anise flavor and fragrance. Used in many Vietnamese dishes, including Pho, a well known beef and noodle soup.
Seed Germinating Tips: Plant outdoors in spring after danger of frost, or indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Cover seed 1/8” with fine soil, pressing firmly. Keep moist.
