This 'shiso' is much bigger and more robust than our other perillas. Plus the leaves are green on top with maroon undersides. Britton has the same nutmeg, basil-like flavor and aroma and can be used as a colorful garnish and in salad mixes. Shiso is also commonly used in sushi and nori rolls.
