Perle Hops Rhizome
An early maturing German variety with good aroma and clean, minty, medium bittering properties. Origianlly bred from English Northern Brewer hops in 1978 at the Hull Hop Institute in Germany. Perle is a dual-purpose hop, often used in combination with other hops. Spicy and slightly floral/fruity. Medium yield.
Used to brew: Pale Ales, Porters, Stouts, Lagers, Barley Wines.
Substitutes: Hallertaur, Mt. Hood
