Willamette Hops Rhizome
All purpose, moderate yielding, English fuggle hybrid released by the USDA in 1976. Named for the Willamette Valley, an important hop-growing area. It has a character similar to Fuggle, but is more fruity and has some floral notes, mild aroma. In 1998 Willamette was responsible for 18% of the total USA hop harvest.
Used to brew: All English-Style Ales, US Pale Ales, US Brown Ales, American Lagers, Porters.
Substitutes: Fuggle.

Please inspect your hops upon arrival. Some formation of mycorrhizal fungi is normal. Open the bag and allow fresh air in. Dampen if necessary, and store in the refrigerator or plant immediately. Growing instructions included.
