Baja Basil Seeds
Ocimum basilicum
 
Description and Uses: We were given this wonderful variety of basil on a trip we made to Baja, Mexico in 1994. The leaves have an incredibly sweet cinnamon fragrance. This basil is excellent with fruity dishes such as Caesar salad or in chutney. Large spikes of pure white flowers.
 
Seed Germinating Tips: Plant outdoors in spring after danger of frost, or indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Cover seed 1/8” with fine soil, pressing firmly. Keep moist.
