Licorice Basil Seeds
Ocimum basilicum
 
A very interesting basil with a strong licorice scent and flavor. Nice looking upright growing plant with deep green leaves and sturdy purple stems giving way to dark purple flowers which you can pick off to promote foliage growth and use as garnish or finishing touch to many Asian dishes. 
 
Seed Germinating Tips: Plant outdoors in spring after danger of frost, or indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Cover seed 1/8” with fine soil, pressing firmly. Keep moist.
