Also known as Mexican Cilantro, Thorny Coriander or Recao. This Central American native has an excellent cilantro flavor and aroma. The spiny leaves can be chopped and used as common cilantro. This herb retains more flavor when dried or cooked than Coriandrum sativum and performs better in hot weather.
